From: Rich Pasco Subject: Re: Barefooting and friends? Date: Sat, 26 Jul 1997 08:47:07 -0700 I just live my life as it works best for me. If someone does not "accept" me for who I am, then that's pretty clear evidence that they weren't really my "friend" in the first place, and it was not worth my time trying to please them. Over the years, people who can't accept me for who I am tend to drift away, and get replaced by a new set of people who love me for who I really am deep inside, not for a false front I put forth in a futile attempt to please them. The result is that I feel abundance and joy in having hundreds of people in my life who love me, barefoot (and often nude) body and all. The same goes, especially, for your boyfriend (and my girlfriend)... It would be a mistake to make a life/love commitment to someone whom I didn't trust enough to know/see me barefoot (and otherwise being my true self). - Rich
