My neighbors enjoy watching me mow my lawn in bare feet
using my old non-powered reel type push mower.  For those
of you who get a kick out of seeing your soles a dirty black,
try doing this and get a healthy shade of green!!! Not only 
have I gotten some folks to give up power mowers (way too
polluting) I have actually seen some of them mowing in 
bare feet this summer!!   My wife has actually mowed in 
bare feet this past summer, much to the chagrin of one of
my staunch across-the-street  nosey type neighbors...
Keep 'em bare, and try 'em green.
