This whole week it has been raining quite heavily and my 
walk in each morning to the Y, has been greeted with a 
small bit of admiration from my friends who work out.  This 
morning, one of the other gents who sees me walk in each  
day (this is about a 1 1/2mile walk), commended me on 
a "brilliant mode of transportation in the rain". As he put it,
"you don't have to worry about puddles, or if your shoes 
get drenched, I never thought about walking barefoot as
being so sensible!!!!!"  Will wonders never cease!! Though I
don't think I will get any converts this winter, I may have a
few takers when the spring arrives.
