RE:  Public Health Code Requirements for Customers of
Food Establishments to Wear Foot Covering

Dear Mr. Frazine:

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the above subject. Please find attached a copy of Public Health Code Section 19-12-B42 which regulates food service establishments. The regualtion is silent on clothing or foot covering requirements for customers. I am also unaware of any other Public Healh Code or Connecticut General Statute requirements that address the issue.
