In response to your requst for information regarding Iowa statutes and regulations relating to consumer dress requirements in food establishments, we conducted a preliminary review of the Iowa Code and the Iowa Administrative Code and contacted the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals (DIA). We were unable to locate any specific statutes of regulations which address this requirement. The Department of Inspections and Appeals, the state agency responsible for the inspection of food establishments, shared that they are also unaware of any DIA rules or regulations which would address this issue.
