1997 Summer Hikes:

• Saturday, May 24, 10:00AM
  Crawford Lake: 6km
  Meet at the Sunoco gas station on the north side of Highway 401 at junction 312. Bring a lunch. Theme: Short Shorts or Long Shorts.

• Saturday, June 21, 10:00AM
  Albion Hills Conservation Area: Two hour hike then free time
  On Highway 50 North of Bolton. Meet outside Palgrave post office. Opportunity for swimming as well as hiking. Theme: Bird Watching. (Entrance Fee.)

• Saturday, July 19, 10:00AM
  Wasaga Beach
  2 km hike followed by swim at beach, then 2 km hike back through sand and bush. Bring a lunch. Meet at Schooner Town Parkette on Highway 92 (across the bridge from McDonalds).

• Saturday, August 16, 10:00AM
  Penetanguishene
  Theme: Going Native at Big Thunder. Hike around 76 acre private estate in native attire of your own choice. Complete privacy, so let your imagination run free. Face and body paint will be available. Bring a lunch. Meet at McDonalds in Midland on Highway 93.
